Arrouha Turkish Laminated Bow 

Specifications:

Turkish Laminated Bow by Ar Rouha Archery The bellies are high strength fiberglass. The bamboo are prepared in good engineered with combination of the both sided fiberglass with high strength epoxy bonding. This sandwich system has been made to provides uniform bonding of adhesive. The maple wood are attached as kassan / tip. Joint part of the kassan, kabza to sal are wrapped together with nylon thread in secure joint.

Then kabza are attached with soft material for archer comforts.Then the bellies are wrapped with black leather leather. The wrapping at arrow zone are using soft goat leather with lustre applied as protective element. Dried sinew are kassan tip are applied for strengthen to nock during release to prevent crack in shear failure of wood grain. It prepared traditionally for as ancient method of application. Yes seem to be easy but need more skill to get in workable.

Like the ancient bows, these modern-ancient ones are made without arrow rests. So will be used right- or left- handed. Most folk use a leather glove to protect were the arrow passes over the side of the bow hand. Yeah definitely you may use either Thumb or Mediterranean draw. By smooth draw your release is easy and the energy goes into the arrow. Well say no stack at even 28" draw length.

Arrouha Turkish Laminated Bow

Assalamualaikum,

Alhamdulillah diberi kesempatan untuk kongsikan sedikit mengenai kaedah ringkas pembuatan busur Turkish Laminated Bow. Ini adalah busur kelima yang telah saya hasilkan. Configuration busur ini adalah D-Shape yang mana specification seperti berikut:

Material:

Fiberglass ( Highstrength ) : 35mm x 1.5mm x 1.17m (46Inches) ( panjangkan 2 inches semasa process pembuatan)

Bamboo Compressed Laminated strip 35mm x 1.5mm x 1.17m(46inches) ( panjangkan 2 inches semasa process pembuatan)

Canadian Maple Wood For Kassan Tip thick 35mm

A. Penyediaan Bahan

Penyediaan fiberglass perlu menggosok bahagian yang akan digamkan. Saya menggunakan grinder machine sandpaper bulat untuk menggosok permukaan fiberglass strip tersebut supaya akan ada rough surface for forming with bamboo strip.

Begitu juga bamboo strip, sebaiknya tillering pada strip tersebut secara longitudinal direction along the strip.DON'T EVER provide any tranverse direction, it will cause some break even then it become the weakness point of your bow!!. Consequently it will break your bow.

Kena ingat tension load will be absorbed by out element of each layer. Definitely fiberglass will absorbed more. But once we allowed some pothole on the bamboo, then it will cause of break-out or delaminated failure.

Setiap fiberglass strip yang dah di gosok pada satu bahagian. Next surface kena letak any strong tape. gambar dibawah menggunakan translucent tape which is not really good. Boleh guna masking tape.

Bamboo strip dinipiskan dengan menggunakan planer thicknesser sampai 1.5mm thickness. Tedious job bro!!

Kuda Arab Ankara

Salamualaik,

Alhamdulillah diberi kesempatan oleh Allah SWT dihantar untuk menjejak kaki dibumi al-Fateh. Angan-angan yang dicipta bersama doa dipinta menjadi kenyataan dalam mengejar pelangi cita-cita.

Sedikit terlambat penerbangan dari peserta pemanah yang ke Kahraman Maras dalam pertandingan memanah tradisional disana. Menaiki penerbangan sendirian amat membosankan. Setelah sampai di Istanbul Atartutk Airport terus naik cab ke Istanbul jalannya fuhh jammed mengalahkan Kuala Lumpur. Sepatutnya naik tram ja lebih mudah. huhu

Misi ke Turkey ni sebenarnya ingin menjejak bowyer (pembuat busur) yang berada di Ankara. Kesempatan bersama rakan pemanah yang transit sebelum bergerak balik ke Kuala Lumpur amat bermakna dan mengikat jalinan ukhuwah sesama pemanah.

Banyak juga tempat2 sejarah kami redah ja ni..Alhamdulillah kebetulan berjumpa student (Hafiz) yang belajar disana juga boleh berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Turkey. Kebanyakan mereka tidak boleh bertutur dalam bahasa English.

Setelah rakan-rakan pemanah bergerak pulang ke KL kami juga terus menaiki bas ke Ankara jarak masa dalam 4 jam juga. melewati bandar kampung gunung ganang menghijau bukit yang ada pokok hanya rumput seluas mata memandang.

Sampai di sana sahabat yang juga penduduk di sana menyambut kami di bas station.

Perjalanan ke Ankara dengan hanya menaiki bas, hospitality macam flight MAS. Cumanya steward nya agak garang hahha. Setiap sejam dia serve air, juice atau hot drink. Torbaeekkkk

Dinner bersama rakan disana Turkish nice guy…makan apa?? hurmmm tatau nama hantam ja la…lapaq wehh jalan jauh lemau dah ni…

Koleksi peribadi dirumah beliau. Ketika ni hari jumaat, beliau sedang diopis kami godek2 barang rumah dia hihi…(tapi dah kasi tau dia nak tengok2)

Sarapan pagi semua roti…adoiiiii…amik tak ingat2…last sekali tak habih…mana nak masuk tekak dah seminggu benda sama…

Terpaksa ku relakan jua..

Ni masjid sekitar situ…ready nak solat jumaat…tapi org xda lagi.,.awal sangat plak..cari masjid pun pakai google je beb.

Fresh strawberry…Ankara antara tempat yang subur dan terkenal dgn buah2an segar.

Petang tu kami dibawa ke stable kuda arab nya…bukit seluas mata,…katanya time winter snow boleh sampai paras pinggang..omak aii..

if you love to perform flight shoot you will love it…no missing arrow issue. huhu

Sini biasa sarapan masak sendiri…simple ja…kalo pagi nak ikut perangai haku nak lepak kedai sorry…xda choice,..

on the nextday hari yang ditunggukan untuk pergi berjumpa bowyer ( pembuat busur )

dia seorang yang amat baik…bg semua ilmu yang ada…busur ini adalah busur organik yang mana menggunakan bahan-bahan organik seperti kayu tanduk sinew (keting).

Proses yang harus dilalui berterusan minima selama 6 bulan untuk siap 1 busur.
